"Show Me Your Hands, Do They Have Scars From Giving?"
Typically in these articles I would be discussing great ideas and tips for homeowners. But today's article will be a little different.
I have been a long time resident of Bothell, WA where I am retired from teaching. And though I am retired from teaching, I am not retired. During the past 35 years when I would be away from my teaching job during the summer months, I have spent my time painting homes.
Now I get to paint full time. Only now I specialize in beautifying doors, mill work, windows, furniture, and other objects in my totally mobile fine finish shop.
I enjoy my work and the opportunity to meet and work with people in my community. Which brings me to my topic today, and that is "Giving Back". We are a world community, and as a world community we should care for all people in all types of situations.
My company supports, and I would like to introduce you to Liberty Road Foundation. It is a foundation for organizing businesses and people dedicated to building communities of hope for those in need and those in danger.
If you are looking for a charity or organization where you can give back and help make a difference in someone's life, may I suggest you follow the link above to Liberty Road Foundation's website where you can see the good they do and consider becoming involved.
